Welcome to Fawns Class, part of the Early Years Foundation Stage at Meadowfield School.
Our class Teacher is Liz
Teaching assistants: Sarah, Lucy and Emma
Lunch assistant: Amy
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and Development Matters documents which cover seven areas of learning which are as follows:
In Fawns class, we learn through a combination of Planned play and Teacher directed activities, with constant use of our outside area. We are an energetic and determined class who love exploring in sensory media.
During Term 1, we will be focusing on the topic 'All about me” and we will be looking at the story ’10 little fingers and 10 little toes’ by Helen Oxenbury.
In order for all the children to reach their full potential we continue to use a multi-sensory approach to teaching and learning.
