At Honey Bees we appreciate that you, as parents/carers know your child best and have an invaluable contribution as their first teachers. We wish to establish a positive partnership with you and your family, which helps us build on those early foundations.

We operate an ‘open door’ policy allowing you to visit whenever you wish or attend our play and stay sessions. We would ask that you meet with us once a term to celebrate your child’s progress. Your contributions towards your child’s learning and development are very important to us.

Parents of Children attending Honey Bees can access many parent/carer courses held at our MIDAS Centre, such as Early Birds.

Staff aim at all times to provide a safe and healthy environment for your child. You can help by:

  • Providing a healthy drink and snack.
  • Keeping staff informed of collection arrangements.
  • Ensuring staff have a current contact number.
  • Keeping staff informed of any medical needs.
  • Keeping your child home if they are unwell.
  • Supporting your child with self-help skills such as toileting/hand washing.
  • Providing suitable clothing/footwear appropriate for weather conditions and outside play.
