Hello, I am Jessica, Ladybirds’ Class teacher.

Welcome to our class page, we are a mixed year one and two class.

The other adults to help us in our class are;

In Ladybirds class we always remember to do good listening and be kind to our friends. Ladybirds are an enthusiastic class who love learning new things.

We have a very exciting couple of terms ahead;
During terms five and six we will be focusing our learning around the theme of ‘The Natural World.’ Exploring ‘Animals and Insects’ in term five where we will be having a visit from a bee-keeper in our science lessons to teach us all about honey bees! As well as learning about the life cycle of a butterfly.

We will then be focusing our learning around the seaside and water in term six.

Our topic stories this term will be ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and ‘The Tiger who came to tea.’

As always we will be exploring learning through a multi- sensory approach and building communication and learning further through lots of stories, group speaking and listening sessions as well as singing and signing.

Things to remember:
On Thursday we have P.E. so please remember to send in P.E kits.
Each Friday EHCP diaries will be sent home, please return them each Monday.
Don’t forget, we will be visiting Faversham Soft-Play every Thursday Morning during term 5 so please send your children in with a spare change of loose fitting clothes/PE kit and trainers.
